The
Royal Burgh of North Berwick has so much to offer. In the late 19th
century, the town advertised itself as the "Biarritz of the North". East Lothian has two natural boundaries, the Firth of Forth
to the north and the Lammermuir Hills to the south. The moderate
climate and some of the most fertile land in Scotland makes the County
ideal for arable farming.
The
scenic beauty of the landscape, with 43 miles of coastline and the
heather clad uplands provide an ideal environment for all recreational
pursuits. East Lothian covers 270 square miles.
