The Royal Burgh of North Berwick has so much to offer.  In the late 19th century, the town advertised itself as the "Biarritz of the North".  East Lothian has two natural boundaries, the Firth of Forth to the north and the Lammermuir Hills to the south. The moderate climate and some of the most fertile land in Scotland makes the County ideal for arable farming.  

The scenic beauty of the landscape, with 43 miles of coastline and the heather clad uplands provide an ideal environment for all recreational pursuits. East Lothian covers 270 square miles.

Enjoy the excellent shopping centre, indoor swimming pool, sports centre, and many other attractions. Visit the Scottish Seabird Centre where you can see live pictures of the seabirds through remote controlled cameras on Fidra and the famous Bass Rock. Visit the 14th century Tantallon Castle, Scottish Museum of Flight or enjoy a leisurely sail round the bays and islands.

If golf should be your passion, there are many excellent golf courses nearby including, Muirfield, North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar, Musselburgh, Archerfield, Luffness and Kilspindie.
